In my very personal hero story, I share how I went from live frustration to ease in front of the camera in just 2 years.
I’m Melina Johannsen, an expert in public image and camera presence.
For years, it was not clear where my journey would take me. My path was characterized by bends, crossroads and forks.
Looking back, it all makes sense:
🌈 6 years training as a hairdresser and make-up artist.
🎭 2.5 years studying acting.
📸 12 years as a photographer.
💼 17 years of self-employment in the advertising, film and theater industry.
🌌 Energetic healer training.
Live pleasure, fulfillment in interaction with people in webinars, passionate dancing in front of the live camera – all this gives me joy. But it wasn’t always like this…
Two years ago, the red live button was unthinkable. I outsmarted myself with lip-sync TikToks and pre-recorded reels, all without an authentic message. I circled the live button like moths to a flame.
Despite stage and camera experience, something was blocking me. The fear of being judged, of negative feedback and the thought of having nothing to say plagued me.
Looking back, it all makes sense:
🌈 6 years training as a hairdresser and make-up artist.
🎭 2.5 years studying acting.
📸 12 years as a photographer.

In meiner ganz persönlichen Heldenstory teile ich, wie ich innerhalb von 2 Jahren von der Live-Frust zur Leichtigkeit vor der Kamera gefunden habe.

Jahrelang war nicht ersichtlich, wohin meine Reise führt. Kurven, Kreuzungen und Abzweigungen prägten meinen Weg.
Rückblickend ergibt alles einen Sinn:
🌈 6 Jahre Ausbildung zur Friseurin und Maskenbildnerin.
🎭 2,5 Jahre Schauspielstudium.
📸 12 Jahre als Fotografin.
💼 17 Jahre Selbstständigkeit in Werbe-, Film- und Theaterbranche.
🌌 Energetische Heilerausbildung.
Live Lust, Erfüllung in Interaktion mit Menschen in Webinaren, leidenschaftliches Tanzen vor der Live-Kamera – all das bereitet mir Freude. Aber das war nicht immer so…
Vor zwei Jahren war der rote Live-Button undenkbar. Ich überlistete mich mit Lippen-Sync-TikToks und aufgezeichneten Reels, alles ohne authentische Botschaft. Ich umkreiste den Live-Button wie Motten das Licht.
Trotz Bühnen- und Kameraerfahrung blockierte mich etwas. Die Angst vor Bewertungen, vor negativem Feedback und der Gedanke, nichts zu sagen zu haben, plagten mich.
Ich entschied, meinen Ängsten zu begegnen und meine Sichtbarkeits-Blockaden niederzureißen. Knapp zwei Jahre innere Forschung folgten.
